You support scientific research
iYoni is a project with a mission. Our app was created to support women in taking care of their fertility and trying to get pregnant. We created it together with doctors and new technology enthusiasts – to share knowledge, hints and help take care of health. We donate one-fifth of subscription revenues to research. We believe that new knowledge can translate into benefits for women, their families and society as a whole. We conduct projects of our own (analyzing anonymous data from the app) and in cooperation with research centers and community organizations. Currently, in cooperation with the Medical University of Poznan and the Polish League Against Cancer Foundation, we are implementing a study on fertility in women affected by cancer. Its goal is to gain a better understanding of the mechanisms and interrelationships, and in the process spread knowledge about the possibility of securing fertility during therapy.
You engage in social projects
We want professional help and knowledge to reach “under the roofs” regardless of place of residence, nationality, material status, as well as political conditions. That’s why we invest in making the app accessible to women in the poorest regions of the world. We spend one-tenth of the subscription revenue on translating content into the languages prevalent in economically disadvantaged regions. We are focusing on African and Asian countries where health awareness is lowest and access to medical care is difficult. We have established partnerships with doctors and community organizations working in Africa. As a first step, we translated the app into Swahili and piloted our solution to women in Tanzania under the care of our partners. We will gradually spread the app to other countries as well, such as Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.
